No one said to start him. Playing him 10-15 minutes is what is needed to get him ready for next year. Winning this year is not the goal. The goal is the future development of this team.

I agree with you somewhat in regards to wins. But I think getting both Thiam and TT at least 10 min per game early would have been helping right now. This year never should have been strictly about wins.....we all like winning BB, but we also brought Johnson in to improve for the future of this...

He is young and needs work. Does not mean that he can not improve. They rarely teach defense in high school and I am sure he was not used in that capacity. Plus the game is still too quick for him but he is learning...and that is what we want.

Daniels should not get one more minute unless we are forced to play him. Total waste and we are losing the chance to develop TT into a more solid player by giving minutes to Daniels.

I agree...BUT the experienced players had a lot to do with that. Seniors should be able to recognize what they need to do. The reason that so many teams with Seniors overachieve ......and those teams with majority of experienced players make it to the dance and do well.

Not sure yet about him. Have hardly seen him play. Has not seen action thus the game is too quick for him yet. He needs more time. Should have been getting more earlier so as to see if he can develop and adjust. The 2 minutes he gets, if even that, is not really to help him with anything.

I agree. WE all wanted to praise Johnson...and he has done some good things...but what we forgot was that the players, even though subpar talent wise, were experienced players so were able to come in right away and make an impact early...unlike a freshman team that is inexperienced and the game...

Just think they both deserve 10-15 minutes per game so they can develop, give a breather to current players. They will be much more prepared for next year and will be able to help the incoming newbies who will also look out of place for some time.
