We don’t get in shootouts because our defense is good. In games we scored a bunch we blew out the other teams. Our lowest scoring game was against Iowa, 14 points, and they were the only team that won by more than a score against us.
They literally were a missed kick away from 9 wins last year. Harbaugh is easily good enough to get to 9 wins, it’s not like he’s been working with a treasure trove of riches.
Maybe if the players were actually being paid to market things. Not sure what you mean by they are using the money the right way versus the male athletes receiving NIL.
120 years ago it was much harder to access new ideas and concepts outside of formal education. There’s not great monetary value in many college degrees at this point.
Milton was good, but not as transcendent as you make him out to be. He played in the time of Lamar Jackson, Kyler Murray, Josh Allen, JT Barrett. I wouldn’t say he was ever the best dual threat hands down. UCF had other really good players on both sides of the ball. Frost really didn’t bring...
Part of actually being a good college coach is being able to win (to differing degrees) anywhere. Even if he thinks Nebraska isn’t a place where a championship can be won, pretty sure it’s still a place where you can make a bowl game.
Tanner Morgan was ok as a RS Frosh. But I agree QB is a question mark, I’m not overly confident or pessimistic about it. Luckily for Drake he hasn’t had to experience any OC changes so far, so that should help some.
Couple times now I’ve seen people say they are worried about the QB because of how AK turned out. I guess I don’t see how that is an indicator of how good or bad Drake Lindsey will be.
How many did we lose on one play? Losing 6 of 7 or whatever doesn’t have any bearing on next year. People are so silly with that. Lose three in a row and suddenly we’ll never beat that team again.
That makes sense. I wonder if Morehead would be the number two, less experience in the system than Wittke, but has actual game play experience at this level.
We just beat Iowa two years ago…and no Peej does not always lose a can’t lose game. Purdue could always pull an upset, Buffalo and NWST have no chance.
