BIG Game 2: Gophers Visit Iowa (12-30-23)

Losing to Iowa is nothing to be ashamed of, but I have to say, giving up this many layups is....what's up with the defense

Maya Nnaji, Hopkins 2022, is leaving basketball

Also her brother just signed a 4-year $32mil contract, I don't think tuition money should be too much of an issue for her.

Biggest rivals today with historical context

I don't know if this is a majority opinion but I'd say Duluth is clearly a rival based just on the past 15 years. Plenty of Gopher fans are angry about Duluth winning the majority of the matchups in the past 10 years. I mean I think the Gophs are like 3-13-2 against them in the past ten years...

    Gopher Hockey Recruiting

BU and BC are loaded but have they won anything lately? UMD went to 4 straight Frozen Fours and they didn't have out of this world recruiting any of those years. Recruits aren't everything.

That is the definition of a talent gap lol. Just can't execute at the rate UNC is so far. Case in point, a talented team puts it in the end zone after that INT

    Gophers underdogs against Cal Baptist

Honestly not surprising, the gap in the quality of talent on these low majors has been closing for years. There are just way more good basketball players out there. If you don't have a legitimate top 25 team (and even if you do) you can expect to have difficulty nowadays. Just look at all the...

2022-2023 College Basketball Other Games Thread

Yeah don't think there are any academic issues now, he seems to be pretty dedicated. I thought there was coming out of HS though and thats why he originally redshirted at Baylor.

Dain Dainja looking extremely good for Illinois so far this year. Wish we had got him, but I know there were academic and weight issues that hampered him at Baylor, so definitely wasn't a sure bet.
