What are the chances we see Darius Taylor play on Saturday vs Cal - your guess

I thought he might get a carry or two last week. A little surprised they don't use him in short yardage situations.

    Game 3 Uniforms

The all white looks good -- however white isn't one of our school colors. Stick with maroon with gold (not canary) accent.

Who is your Gophers MVP in the win over NW St?

OK. I see how it's used. Just was curious about its etymological origin. Be well.

    Game 2 Uniforms?

Always interesting to see opposing viewpoints on subjective matters. I like the maroon. I wish we would emphasize maroon and use the gold (not yellow) as an accent color.

‘Can’t Settle for Field Goals’: Gophers look to fix green zone woes

Gophers used a fake tushpush last year and threw over the middle to Geers. I don't remember which game. That's the kind of play that can be valuable as a threat -- scare the DBs a little.

    Game 2 Uniforms?

Yeah, that's not attractive. I wish the gold were gold and not canary. And I'd want the emphasis to be on the maroon.

Post Game Thread: Gophers 1-0 After 23-10 Win Over Buffalo

The fluke interception wasn't the first UM suffered. Look how similar this one is.

    Week One: Offensive Line

Gophers had only 2 penalties. Ten yards. Impressive discipline.

What if NIL/Portal existed when Fleck came to MN?

Imagine how much NIL money the Gophers would have if they were the only football team competing for fans' money. The Vikings will draw about 500,000 fans at, say 400$ a ticket (ignoring concession $ for now) or about 200MM$. Much of that might have gone to the Gophers' NIL fund.

The 2025 Gophers football season will be a sucsss if?…

Success? Win all three NonCon games. Beat either Iowa or Wisconsin. Win 4 BiG games. Win a bowl game.

RB Ky Thomas transferred from MN to Kansas to Kent State to Washburn.

I saw him play in a Kansas HS playoffs game against Dylan Edwards. Equally impressive as Edwards. Not as fast but more power. I hope he's making good use of his college years and education.

The NCAA is considering allowing five years of eligibility for players in all sports moving forward, per an NCAA official.

Why are there any longevity or academic limits? Players today are employees of the schools. Let them stay as long as the school will have them.

So what’s next? What Bowl Game we thinking?

I don't care where the game is or whom we play -- as long as the game is televised. Grateful to have another game to watch and for our bowl appearance streak to continue.
