Guessing part of the issue may have been a plan for Tyler Wahl to start in place of Kobe. Reading into the comment...did not like the direction the program was taking. Wahl seemed to provide more rebounding which the badgers needed.

Excellent win. Team showed a lot of heart to fight back. OSU packed it in around Oturu. Need to hit outside shots and make them pay.

Really great all around game. Carr's rebound on the OSU miss before his three was another big play. He led the Gophers in points and rebounds. I thought Willis was steady filling in at PG.

Agree on Eric Harris. Mark Hall was very physical, used to post up smaller guards but I think Eric Harris is a better comparison for Marcus Carr.

Demir was awesome. Very smooth taking the ball to the rim and over powering the freshman Wagner. Good rebounder. Looks every bit the highly recruited grad transfer he was supposed to be.

His performance against Auburn reminded me of the GT game. Loved seeing him keep on running with guys trying to arm tackle him. He was often running with both arms wrapped fully around the ball. No way was Mo fumbling against Auburn.

Fair enough. I work with several LSU fans. They all thought Auburn would easily beat the Gophers. They all came away very impressed with the Gophers. A convincing win against a good SEC team will help change the national perception of the Gophers. Will also help recruiting in Florida...

One thing TM has going for him is toughness and durability. He played every game and almost every snap. The season would likely have been much different had he gotten hurt and not been able to play. Several times he was banged up and limping but he stayed in the game.
