Your question is difficult to answer - it's like the Dawson Garcia question. The way the rules are currently written and enforced in the past - no. That said, I don't understand how the same arguments (unreasonable restraint on trade) could not be made by a 27 year old who could make more...

Hold out!! Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava did not attend Tennessee spring practice today. He’s been in conversations with Tennessee about a new contract.

$4 million is going to be really tough. I think most people believe he is good but Tennessee's system does inflate the numbers a bit. Colorado? They just got the QB from Liberty. Oregon? Does he really risk it all to jump into that QB battle? UCLA? Do they come up with $4 million? Does he put...

Hold out!! Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava did not attend Tennessee spring practice today. He’s been in conversations with Tennessee about a new contract.

Well yeah, anything would have been better than tying it up in court. That wouldn't have accomplished anything. They had three real options - pay him, move on, or let him sit out and hope he returns for the fall. I'm glad they chose not to pay him more and I don't think he'll make more money...

    General Manager Hires

it’d be really hard to have a contract that forces people to play. You’re right, there are very alternatives for NFL players. They can’t just sit out and move on to another league. However, thst is pretty unique to the NFL.

Tie up in court with him not playing? I don’t think delaying is in Tennessee’s best interests.

    Evans commits to North Carolina

I hear you. For many of them, it is just a wasted opportunity. Even if they have a million bucks from playing basketball in the future (NIL, Euro, etc.), an accounting degree or something of value could really come in handy in the future. In some ways, I don't blame them. I mean they are...

Go on youtube and look up "Florida Gators' First Class After Winning". The interviewer asks every player what their first class back after winning will be - none of them could answer. A couple of them didn't even understand the question.

Yeah, this is why Omot must play most of his minutes with 3 ball handlers. Similarly to JOJ, if he plays a wing position, it will really slow down the offense (IMO).

SJSU center Robert Vaihola commits to Gophers!!

We have a number of scholarships available and I would have welcomes Big Frank back as well, but Vaihola looks like a significantly more well-rounded player than Frank Mitchell. He is a more active defender (steals/blocks), better with ball movement, and a better free throw shooter.

Any word on Daniel Freitag? I've heard he would be a better football prospect than a basketball prospect. Any chance he switches sports?

I have no idea how much input Mike Tice had in these selections, but below are the OL drafted by the Vikings while Mike Tice was OL coach or HC. Matt Birk - C Jay Humphrey - OT Mike Malano - OT Lewis Kelly - OG Bryant McKinnie - OT Ed Taamu - OG Chad Beasley - OT Nat Dorsey - OT Marcus Johnson...

We could get a Houston, give the football team $12 million, and build a brand new Dairy Queen on campus.
