Jaylen Varner is the most intriguing newcomer in my book. The Gophers need WRs and watching his highlights he looks like a good route runner with good body control and solid hands. Curious to see what his top ends speed looks like.

As with all of Minnesota football teams Im cautiously optimistic, 45 plus years of being a fan will do that to a guy.

While watching the Ravens vs Texans game Saturday there was 3 former Gophers on the field at the same time with Faalele, Bateman and Cashman. Can't say I've ever seen that happen let alone in a playoff game and I've been watching football for 40 plus years.

Just the Gophers for me.
