Bonin's narrative is how he comes up with this BS. Bonin's claim that Mclaughlin is a Denver reject because he wanted to come in this year and DU wanted him to wait. He had a spot next year and wasn't cut because he sucked. But it makes Bonin feel better in his non stop bashing of Motzko.

I think the general issue with Bonin21 is that fact he is ALWAYS negative. He complains about everything around the Gopher program from parking to the merchandise they sell. He seeks out the negative and finds any little thing to complain about. At the same time he gushes about BU, BC, UND, UM...

So you are telling me that being an assistant on a primarily pro tourney will help in recruiting? I would say being head coach of the World Junior team would have a larger impact. But I'm sure you will come up with some negative spin about that as well.

BC has had 2 good regular seasons in a row. They had 2 years under 500 the prior 2 ( I would call that mediocre). It is not like they reload every year and have been a top team every year the past 5.
