Crazy but seeing talent like Daniel Oturu or Amir Coffey where the maroon and gold seems like lightyears away right now. We feel like a division II squad.
What's discouraging is normally you would say, "Well, the coach needs a chance to get his guys in there." That is still true but with the crazy transfer game, a coach can largely shape a team in year 1. What we are seeing is very disheartening.
For whatever reason, the U of M is just never able to get the prestige of other big ten schools, don't know why but we are always one of the bottom feeders even though the surrounding talent and area is great.
This is why I need them to hurry up and make a new college basketball videogame. I know in my heart that only I can fix Gophers basketball and I'll do it there.
