Excellent excellent idea. $1M per year. But use none of it for 4 years. Sign all Canadian players or low-level DII guys. In Year 5...sign our starting lineup at $1M each.

Being a Gopher Basketball fan is one of the most challenging things in world history. You literally have to be a glutton for punishment. Going up against all odds. It's like hoping a machine moves in one direction...when all the gears are set up to move in the opposite direction.

I have an idea too. Let's hope we actually ARE forced to bring in singers, offensive linemen, and people off the street to fill the team. Let's really bottom out. Let's make it so bad that it makes national headlines. Let's go on a 3 year losing streak...winless...blown out by an average of...
