Ben Johnson made some key half time adjustments in this one… the biggest one might have been the decision to not switch anymore when McDaniels got a screen (which we did all 1st half). Man it feels good to get a Big Ten road win.

There was a lot of talk about this on another thread, but most on this site blamed the product on the court as the only reason for significantly low attendance. My family has had season tickets my entire life so far, so this is my two cents... Even during some of the really bad Monson or Pitino...

Orr was my favorite player on that team. Probably because I knew I wanted to be a point guard by that time and my favorite team was obviously the Gophers. In the driveway though, I was always Penny Hardaway… 😁

Unfortunately you might as well get used to it. St Thomas fans are going to continue to bombard this site with the same old narrative that the Gophers are too scared to play them until it actually happens. Expect 10+ threads a year on this topic for the foreseeable future.

I was very impressed with Marquette yesterday. What a well-oiled machine. They did not let up once all game on the defensive ended. I was wondering if last year was a flash in the pan with this specific group of players. Sneaking up on the Big East is one thing, but doing it again the next year...
