We have roughly the same level of talent as most of the big ten outside of a handful of teams. We're not suffering from lack of recruiting or NIL. We've been able to retain our own players and even grab a few outside the program that have helped.

I reject the notion that this all comes down to money, but I agree that the pool money for assistants needs a significant bump and changes need to be made there.
