Look for some pleasant surprises from the Gophers this season.

Do they to tweak their schemes and figure out to get the talent they need to succeed? They are up against teams with deep NIL pockets like Nebraska. IMHO, the current Gophers Football model works well for them in the Big Ten West. Not so much in the new conference alignment.

What are they going to do in Offense and Defense with Rossi gone? Is Harbaugh still going to be the OC? What changes are forthcoming? The Gophers need to keep up with the changes or go spiraling down to the bottom of the Big Ten.

Experienced OC is not present. Why did they place the fortunes of this season with an inexperienced OC? No QB whisperer. Talent is not as good and deep as PJ Fleck predicted. The Gophers are clipped at the knees with NIL bidding. It appears that Year Zero is here again.

Gophers, don’t feel so bad.

They look like a No. 2 Team in the country. They are in a different planet. Be prepared for a spectacle next week.
