I said "likable". Goes way beyond charisma alone. For example.....Lane Kiffin is charismatic. Doesn't make him popular.
It probably didn't have zero impact on the decision. I just don't buy that it was a primary decision for his hiring.
Ben Johnson is well known as a former Gophers player and assistant coach and is super likable. Anyone looking further into it than that has personal issues.
Correct. Uphill battle trying to sell another rebuild in year five.....when the first one didn't even manage to produce a single NCAA tournament bid (despite having probably a top five Gophers player this millenium).
