Iowa deserved to lose by trying for 2 when going up 19-7. There was no needed for it. That and Cade McNamara is awful.

Gophers have shown the ability to pass the ball against this level of competition but the running game has been horrendous again. 2.4 ypr rush against UNC 2.5 ypr rush today. Need to clean that up.

That was a D performance. Looked overmatched at this level. Hopefully first game jitters and he gains some confidence from that last drive.

And this was ultimately the difference. Their guy 4 for 4. Gophers guy for 1 for 3. Also the team looked no different than last year. Getting to 6 wins will be quite the struggle.

D can’t do anymore. Problem is this offense is horrendous and the new QB clearly not ready for the jump up in competition.

When you play this way the margin of error is so small. Basically need to play mistake free.

The Gopher QB is going to need to complete a pass or this could get away from them in a hurry.

Max Johnson looks pretty shaky back there. Keep getting pressure on him and he will throw a couple more up for grabs.
