IMO whether or not the contracts are team friendly is irrelevant. You can make an argument for Lopez because quality starting pitching is a high commodity but any older position player you should be willing to move.

The only interesting thing about this season is whether or not management decides to keep this core together. Buxton, Correa, Lopez and almost all of the arms out of the bullpen should be up for trade. I would try to keep Duran. Let it totally bottom out and rebuild from there.

I don’t hate Pitino but I was ready for him to be fired. He was given 8 years at the U and it didn’t work out. Pitino can coach and if he continues to have success at New Mexico he will be back coaching in a power conference maybe as soon as next season.
