    NCAA Tournament 2022-23

Didn't Creighton take out Iowa and Iowa State last year in the tourney?

Dennis Evans - Is it time to recommit?

Going from a last place B1G program to a last place ACC program. Get that NIL money.

Me too but there's this little worry in the back of my head that Coyle could mess it up.

Lot of choices. I like some of the ones mentioned in the Daily Gopher article. I just want an excellent coach, up & comer, with an excellent track record. Not asking too much.

I've been in the same job for 19 and like where I'm at too! I see nothing wrong with it.

    Mark Coyle Presser 3-2-23

Wouldn't blame her for being p-o'd. Timing was bad. Still on the fence as to whether or not she should have been given another year. Yes I know it is moot.

MSR: Whalen Steps Down: Comments from Coyle, Gray-Miller and Coquese Washington

Sorry, you listed those two without explanation so I thought you were. Comprehension of what's been going on the past few days has me a little befuddled and somewhat sad. Joette Law's only head coaching experience at Illinois; Overall win percentage .426; B1G win percentage .314. Ridiculous...

    Mark Coyle Presser 3-2-23

When has a coach who has been canned/let go/bailed for another school been at a press conference? Littlejohn? No. Oldfield/Freeze? No. Borton? No. Stollings? No.

When does the seat become hot?

I don't think he said that TN was getting more from Powell. Just address the attitude issues with her. Agree that her performance is down.

Bruce Odson: Conversation is that Aaron Johnston will be Minnesota’s first choice if Lindsay Whalen does not turn the Gophers around next year.

Article in The Athletic has: Megan Duffy (Marquette) Dawn Plitzuweit (first year West Virginia, formerly South Dakota) Lindy La Rocque (UNLV)

BREAKING: Mark Coyle and Lindsay Whalen announced today that Whalen will step down as head coach, effective immediately.

Kinda hoping it'll be a repeat of Lindsay's college career. Awful freshman year, Littlejohn canned, Brenda (Oldfield) Freese comes in, turns it around, unfortunately leaves but then Final Four in 2004. I think this team has that potential.

Scoggins: Give Whalen One More Year

Well, sort of. She resigned, not fired.

BREAKING: Mark Coyle and Lindsay Whalen announced today that Whalen will step down as head coach, effective immediately.

I hope they stay....seems like they want the program at the U to return to greatness.
