With this line, and the offensive playstyle, I'm a huge fan of the RB by committee approach. Use 3 guys, we have at least that many backs that can succeed with this line. Keep them all fresh.
Old school seems to work in college basketball though. I think his on court style would fit the big ten just fine.
Too green on the college scene for my liking though. Richard had more college experience than Sam.
what an idiot. Curious what the full story is.
Edit: Just read up on it. Sounds like Juwan stepped out of the coaches box to complain about a call, Turgeon pointed it out to the refs, Juwan lost it. Juwan defends himself in post game comments claiming Turgeon "charged" at him, and Juwan is from...
Knocking Michigan (and Harbaugh) has recently become trendy, but what is considered underperforming for them in the Harbaugh years, is pretty impressive. 49-22 record and three ten win seasons. 4 top 20 finishes in 6 years....oh, and they've had 34 players drafted in that 6 year span as well
really? I think he's a lock. Just hoping he stays for one more year.
but absolutely, he will make get an NFL paycheck IMO. And not just as some roster invite, or PS guy. He will play games in the NFL.
The Jack Michaels show is the worst thing on the radio in the entire country...Its either someone on to talk about Carson Wentz, or he's talking about class B basketball. He doesn't have a lick of talent, or personality either.
I was thinking of putting some money on this game and watched the over/under and the spread an money lines jump all over the place...then the site was like "F it" and took the game off the board.
On the subject of PJ not being an X's and O's guy...he simply isn't. He even admits it, usually followed by how he got an 18 on the ACT. PJ is passionate, and a relentless worker, but he can't call games. Get some better coordinator around you, PJ.
Sure, there was that part...then, there was the part where Maryland adjusted and sold out to stopping the run. The Gophers took advantage of it on one drive with the Autman-Bell TD...then played right into Maryland's hand the rest of the game.
Most don't blame Walker. He never should have been in that position. The Gopher's never should have even been in that position. Coaching was absolutely brutal. Maryland sold out to defend the run and the Gophers could have won easily by opening up the passing game with their all big ten QB and...
