We can thank the University for it. 17th Ave dorms where all the freshmen athletes live had serious mold problems and a bunch of people got sick.

    Gopher Hockey Recruiting

This is really random and down the road but can Motzko recruit Lakeville native Henry Welsch. He has been phenomenal this year for UMASS Lowell and could see him coming as a grad transfer which is in 2 years. Maybe it's a stretch but if I'm being honest I just wanted an excuse to hype him up.

    #2 Gophers @ #3 Wolverines

Doesn't have to be now but sooner rather than later I'd like to shake up the lines a bit with our forwards. It feels like most games only 1 or 2 lines show up and I think distributing the skill would help. No need to change 18-24-22 because they are on a tear right now however early in the...

    Gophers v Penn State 10 & 11 November 2022

#1/1 Gophers vs #7/7 Fighting Hawks

I get that but also I think having a guy with 90+ games played including 4 against UND could make a difference. Also I think we have enough skill that taking out Thomas or L. Mittelstadt wouldn't be a huge loss.

#1/1 Gophers vs #7/7 Fighting Hawks

Wouldn't mind seeing Staudacher get in the mix this weekend to bring some experience and size. Ideally we have a consistent pair with: Johnson/Faber Staudacher/Lacombe Chesley/Koster Extra: Mittelstadt or Thomas

#2/2 Gophers vs. #5/5 Minnesota State

I feel like two weeks into the season Strobel has solidified his spot into the lineup and no longer needs to be splitting games. Among the Freshman forwards he easily brings the most physicality and has also created plenty of scoring chances. I expect to see his name on the scoring sheet more...
