The scrolling scoreboard is convenient and appreciated, but stop listing games that don't start until after the Gophers game is likely over -- e.g., 2:30 p.m. games during 11:00 a.m. Gophers games.

The stadium was designed to be capable of supporting future seating expansion to 80,000. The 30,000 seats would be added above the second deck of the stadium from the end of the press boxes across to the northwest end of the venue, wrapping around the remainder of the horseshoe.

The Gophers went to two Rose Bowls when I was at the U. I went to both games -- by charter train as a student for the 1961 game, and by charter flight as a student chaperone for the 1962 game. Been waiting ever since for a return trip.
