Not sure why folks think Mitchell Jr wouldn’t be coveted. He’s an elite 3 point shooter that can also be a secondary ball handler. I’m not necessarily Ben’s biggest fan but I promise it is okay to give him some credit for some of the guys he’s brought in.

I agree. Provides great size and experience on the perimeter, he raises the ceiling of this team exponentially. Could be a bonafide sidekick to Garcia that can score from all 3 levels of the floor

Not sure what you define as a superstar but DeSean Eikens averaged 19/5/3 and was 2nd team all league. Could instantly be our 2nd best player behind Garcia and supposedly we are after him, sounds like he might be waiting for a medical waiver to play this year though

I can’t imagine a sophomore who’s played 7 total minutes of college basketball all of which in garbage time would get put on scholarship over a 5th year senior with experience, but I suppose it’s possible

It is encouraging that the 5th year kid from Rochester isn’t being put on scholarship cause if they weren’t planning on using the last one it would’ve made sense to put him on scholarship for this year.
