KC Star: Kansas took two D-line transfers from Minnesota. They think Jayhawks are ‘hungrier’

I mean if by "a lot more hungrier" he means "a lot more worse at playing defense", then I agree with him.

Shooter: Considering the free agency transfer portal, Gophers rooters should be concerned about retaining QB Athan Kaliakmanis

I'm not going to pay money to read that so there's probably a bigger context to this sentence. Still, Big Ten starters seldom leave for another program. Now if they're riding the pine some, sure, increased chance of testing free agency. I swear, sometimes Minnesota media treat Gopher football...

    NCAA Signing Cap—Colorado

Heh, that amateurism label is a technicality at this point.

    NCAA Signing Cap—Colorado

I mean, if I was the new hire HC for a crap professional team and I had a lot of sway to bring in quality players to immediately compete for positions and clean house, I'd probably do something similar.

Winston DeLattiboudere — New D-Line Coach?

I'd love it. Granted, I'm biased as he's the source of my signature "We don't suck."

Go frogs! I mean technically a horned lizard isn't a frog or even a toad, but let's just roll with it anyway. #texas

What does "play to win" look like in a game - how is it different than "playing not to lose?"

I suppose a third one would be: 3 - Our coach is not coaching well vs ____ and we need to do something different. All of them are complaints about not winning or not winning by enough points. I imagine that many fans would think that Iowa plays not to win every season.

What does "play to win" look like in a game - how is it different than "playing not to lose?"

Playing not to lose can be a few things I think. (Both still mean you are trying to win =-) 1 - A conservative offense. 2 - A gameplan to keep a game close vs a team that has clearly better athletes.

Irving to the end zone, can’t compete at MN

Oh I don't disagree. I doubt that the coaching staff called him Bucko after knowing it was his late father that gave him the nickname. If so, I agree with roadrunner, that's a "d##khead" move.

Irving to the end zone, can’t compete at MN

Many people wouldn't find a change of nickname to be insulting. Unless the nickname is d##khead, but even then it could be a term of endearment. People are weird.

Irving to the end zone, can’t compete at MN

I genuinely thought it was just a joke and that nobody called him Bucko. I have no idea what really went on - of course.

Big Ten owes Gopher players an apology

So no baseball fields in NY and no domes where they decide to let it rain on the field before games. CFB bowl games have a player attendance problem and conditions like these are definitely how to get more players to play in them... <_<

    What Effect did NIL have?

I think NIL means eventually all college football teams not named Notre Dame who are outside of the super conferences are farm clubs.

I asked a Syracuse reporter six questions...

Great stuff per usual, Noel! Some comments were amusing... -- I like how this celebrates being not good but above average. -- 27 huh. Three teams scored more than 16 points against the Gophers this year. And after two offensive clunkers where Ibrahim didn't play against Purdue then Morgan...
