This next game is important, but the most important game on the schedule is Illinois. We HAVE to win that game in order to make the tourney IMO.

I will say what I have said the last few games. This team looks like a tournament team. The play hard, good defense, rebound and have now(last 4-5 games) started to play great offense. It's a shame we lost Wisky and Iowa games, but they still have a decent shot, no matter what the rankings say...

Offense has been run much better the last handful of games. Lots of moving, picks, cuts, etc. Way less of the standing around iso ball stuff. It is a much more pleasing game to watch and works!

Agreed, but teams will come after both. And both are needed if you want a tourney team next year. Christie IMO, at some point leaves for greener pastures(especially if the Gophers don't win fairly big). I hope we can keep him for another year possibly 2 though!

They look like a tourney team. It’s too bad they lost some games early to stinkers like mizzou, SF and Ohio State. Also losing to Iowa was embarrassing they are flat out not good and we had their asses whooped sealed and delivered until the last 7 minutes of that game

Iowa loss was a gut punch. If this team wanted to think tourney they had to win that game being up that big. Purdue is going to hammer us, need to steal Illinois for sure, take care of business at home then get one of NW or Nebraska on the road.

Doesn't really matter to be honest. The only way we win this game is with some unreal bad play by Purdue or on fire 3-point shooting the whole game from the Gophers. Rest Garcia and try to see if you can finish the season on a run.

Would agree with this post. The offense stands around way too often, when they move their bodies and the ball we score fairly easily. That said, the defense they play is flat out pretty good.

Yes, get back on defense though and going to have to chase all night. Last time we played them their motion offense ate us alive.

This is the way. Build it on defense and rebounding. Now, if we could play offense with movement for 2 halves, we are gonna be a tough out the rest of the way.

If we win out at home and beat either Illinois or Purdue on the road. One BTT win gets us in, right?
