I was listening to Ryan Burns podcast around Christmas and they said there was talk when he visited the football facility that peoples heads were turned. Everyone was like who’s that!! He must be a physical specimen.

I saw him quite a few times on tv behind the bench last year at Gopher games. I don’t think he is going to the U unless he ends up playing football. I kind of think the Gophers are pursuing the guard from up north instead. I have no inside information on this…it’s my own speculation.

Did you watch the game last night? That was their crunch time lineup. I would guess they were on the floor together around half the time.

Why don’t you just go to your own teams message board and leave this one for Gopher fans. We have a good freshmen class and next years class is even better.

I agree….I don’t think it is impossible for the Gophers to go to the B1G championship game after USC and UCLA join the conference. I’m sure many would have said the same thing about us with Nebraska when they joined the conference.

We would have gone to the Rose Bowl because we hadn’t been there in the longest time….but it would have been a 4 way tie for first place.

I think Mason’s best record in the Big 10 was 5-3 which he did twice. We lost the Michigan game one year….but there were 3 teams that finished 6-2 that year in the Big 10 besides Michigan finishing 7-1.

I disagree….we had Bateman back that year and hopes were high. We had a ton of players out all season once they started and we were still two plays away from being 5-2 in the B1G that year. In my opinion you are remembering the way you want to frame it.

Congrats on being a fan for 35 years. Then you should remember your first two years when Clem Haskins won 2 and 4 Big Ten games before taking them to the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 in years three and four.

Ryan Burns mentioned him as the right tackle on todays podcast when talking about the offensive line. He was going over the recruits on the offensive line and seemed to think he will be here next year. Maybe you heard it from someone who has more inside information than Ryan Burns…or maybe...

He has also had Fox and Ihnen injured both this year and last year.

If Nolan Winter goes to Wisconsin (and I’m not saying he isn’t) it won’t be because the LN coaching staff wants him to go to Wisconsin instead of the U. I know for a fact their coaching staff really likes Ben Johnson and felt he and the Gopher coaching staff did a great job recruiting Winter...

I think Pitino offered Davison the day before he committed to the Badgers….it was a pathetic job by our coaching staff.
