    2025 Transfer Portal Watch

I was actually holding out that maybe he would find his way back. During last season and In looking at his 2023 highlights, i often thought that a defense first, rebounding guard was missing last years team. And maybe from next years roster too

Branham: There are at least 8 teams that will have a $10,000,000+ roster in college basketball next season.

The question is: where was that 10M going before? Is that new money? Were players getting a chuck of it before under the table? Was universities pocketing it?

    Niko’s roster construction

agreed. I like the thought of playing a lineup that has 3 forwards that can all switch on defense and shoot the ball. But that doesnt mean you dont need somebody who can bang down low when the other team has a physically dominate player CSU had that player in Memba. Right now, we dont...

    Niko’s roster construction

In looking at roster to date, it looks like a defensive/rebounding guard would fit in nicely. Any chance Tyler Cochran is still a possibility?

Here is my solution. NCAA cant control NIL or put any restrictions on it. NCAA cant control free trade and limit an individuals right to seek new employment elseswhere (transfers) What the NCAA can control and still does control is the availability of individuals at a institution. Damian Johnson on Asuma: He should be a starter along with Femi. I don’t understand starting Rigsby.

Agreed on Asuma starting. But think we need Rigsby shooting to space the floor for Garcia. Right now I would go with Asuma Rigsby Patterson Garcia Mitchell

    Shooting

In watching the team thus far, I realized last night that when any gopher releases a shot from outside of 10ft I'm surprised when it goes in. So I thought I would rank who I am most confident about when they take an open jump shot. Here are my top 5 players (based on perception, not stats)...

Doubt there will be another BTT hosted here

I hear you on comparing single session tickets. My comment was around Full Session tickets. Which they said was stronger than Chicago. And was a better gauge of success, as it doesnt way as much on certain teams playing or advancing.

Doubt there will be another BTT hosted here

I think you are off here. I was talking with somebody I think we will see when final ticket numbers come out. But i was talking with someone associated with the event and they were very happy with the full session ticket sales that had far surpassed Chicago last year.

Shooter: Minnesota, conceptually, has considered either renovating Williams Arena or building a new arena in the parking lots north of arena

I think Im in the same camp as most of you. Im glad they are looking at a renovation or new arena for nothing else than to land on a long term vision on what the basketball experience on campus would be for the next 30 years. Personally I hope a remodel of Williams is the best outcome...
