I hope that this Program will become a perennial top 6 finisher in conference play. And on occasion when the "...moon is in the Seventh House, And Jupiter aligns with Mars..." a top 1-3 team. I believe this team has the potential for a Sweet Sixteen next year... and see above... perhaps an Elite...

I agree with your post. I would add that perhaps a player can be overlooked because of a "super star" on their team. Case in point... I watched McKinney play in the 2025 State Tournament... she had a double/double in 2 of 3 games and was two rebounds short of posting a 3rd in the final game...

If Tori and her advisors surmise the same... maybe portal time... hope Coach P is having team meeting(s) to discuss roles and to determine those willing to accept those roles.

I agree... just posing the question. If not Braun, then who? We have six core players, they can't all start.

Does the starting lineup remain the same? Maybe Braun comes off the bench... instant offense, less stress on her foot. Will she accept that role?

Good idea. I started a thread back in February regarding next years starters... Thread '2025-2026 season starters' https://gopherhole.com/boards/threads/2025-2026-season-starters.117743/ I posted my thoughts and the rationale for my choices.

I look at the portal not unlike me shopping for a car. What are my desires... are they inline with my needs? What is my budget? Do I want a truck or car, 2wd or awd... and so on. In the end, I will make an offer on a vehicle. Will the vehicle meet my needs? Hope so. Will it meet all of desires...

Battle acknowledged in the KFAN post-game interview that guarding the post was different for her especially guarding someone with the skills of Ejim. She decided the best strategy was to try and deny her the ball, because if Ejim got the ball, it could be trouble. She did an excellent job!

I agreed with the stellar performance. I wasn't nitpicking, only questioning whether it was the right decision... and offering a different outcome based on that decision. Battle has been thrown-under-the-bus and had her inventory taken with sometimes language that borders on vicious all season...

What if... Ejim makes first FT, but misses the second... they rebound and kick it out for a quick 3... one point game with perhaps 10 seconds left. They win with a 2. Or maybe Battle steps back and allows Ejim the 2. Gopher ball with 14 seconds left... they must foul us (hopefully Battle or...
