I believe Katie benefited from receiving an extra COVID year. Anyone starting now wouldn't be eligible for that.

I agree. It was a stupid play. She's athletic and has contributed to a couple of wins, but she's not who you want handling the ball when the game is on the line. But then Battle had some costly turnovers in the 4th quarter too.

I agree. And when she drives to the basket, she just flings the ball up there. No form at all. She just can't handle contact (like GG, for example). She ends up on the floor a lot, and it seems she doesn't get her fair share of foul calls.

I disagree on Heyer. She maybe didn't have a good game last night, but for the season she's probably been the Gophers most consistent all-around player.

Indiana's guards moved the ball, ours didn't. As a result, they got wide open shots. As long as our guards think they get points for dribbling, nothing will change. There's not much Heyer can do if the ball gets to her late (or not at all). We do need help in the middle. Hart works hard...

I agree with you regarding the excessive dribbling. Too much dribbling by the point guard usually ends up in less player movement. Why cut to the basket if you're not going to get the ball. If you pass well, you hardly have to dribble at all. A year or two ago Klay Thompson of the Warriors...
