Alex Kaliakmanis: Trying very hard not to comment on a program that our family decided to cut ties with.

It is good to be king. If most of these coaches at all levels were accountable for how they treat 17 and 18 year old kids, they would be banished at any other line of business. They have their group of coaches and you are either in their circle or out. They run it like WWII new recruits were...

If Hill can start for Iowa, AK will probably receive some opportunities. Hill Looks like a slow Division III tackle and throws like one.

    Potential MN Grown QB's

Feeney's dad has allowed his kids much opportunity, similar to Bauman's dad in Buffalo. Moore Head has 6A numbers, while playing schools like Tech and Sartell, who have won 1 game in three years. Playing his Freshman son instead of 200 pound Senior. His older brother is a backup at UND, and...

Ranking the top 10 QBs already in the transfer portal (9. Max Brosmer, New Hampshire; Best fits: Syracuse, Auburn, Vanderbilt)

That is the dilemma, the majority of coaches and their egos, come in with their starter, even if the answer in front of their nose is different then their choice. Most programs have a style of QB they want in their system. Next, the put time and effort recruiting their prototype, AK, they...

SJU receivers like age 23 to 25. Transfers from Uof M, a few from JC, and a 6'8" kid that did not play in HS. Playing against 5'8" secondary in MIAC. When they played equal competition, they could not run the ball. Whitewater scored 58 points on them. No longer the tradition of Gagliardi...

SJU had like 2 rushing TD's going into the last game. They had like 4 receivers that were 5th or 6th year and they threw the ball like 50-60 times a game, against bad secondary's, The QB had negative yards rushing for the year and has a bad shoulder. Never able to take a game over. Throwing...

    Quarterback

It is basically a S show. These coaches think they have all have the answer with the guys they have chosen, most of the time it does not work out and then they scramble to fill in the blanks out of desperation. Same song and dance every year.

    Quarterback

I felt sorry for AK and the team when he was lying in the end zone with the Tweedy Birds flying around his head.

STrib: Gophers QB Athan Kaliakmanis: 'I'm nowhere near where I want to be'

50% completion rate is poor for a HS QB. They went all in on him since his Sophomore year in HS. No team will go deep with a QB that cannot make the pass, unless you are Elk River and throw the ball once a game. Give someone else a chance.
