She is one of the top players in the country in her class. She also picked up offers from UConn and South Carolina (among others) this week and has a lot of offers overall. She had an offer from the Gopher staff when they were at West Virginia.

She is not listed on the roster on the website. I am assuming she is not interested in playing elsewhere. She originally was not going to play in college.

I think I read someone post on the Wisconsin message board that Marquette is also in the running for Maty. I wonder if Coach Duffy is still being pursued by any other schools.

I’m not sure. But I was thinking it would not count if she is unable to play. I know she is hoping to play again.

If they do not have any players transfer out, I don’t think they have any scholarships available. The only opening they may have is if Ava Jones is not counted.

Her sister is still committed to South Dakota. Maybe Mara did some recruiting of Maty last weekend. 😉
