Maybe I'm wrong, but this is how you know Fleck needs to go

Fleck does need to go. We all know the many different skills a college football coach needs to have to be successful. Pre-NIL Fleck was a very solid recruiter and seemed to be good at creating a culture the kids liked to play under. But NIL money has changed recruiting dramatically...

Predict the Score Thread - Floyd of Rosedale on the Line!!! MINNESOTA vs Iowa

Iowa: 20 Gophers 13 I hope I am wrong. But Gophers line (both O and D) play has been very concerning so far this season. We need dramatic improvement in this game or it could be worse.

** How Many Games Will the Gopher Win? ** Pulse Vote After Crushing Nevada

The offense is still underperforming at an alarming rate with the exception of Taylor. The O-line has surprisingly been very bad in both run and pass protection. This has been overcome a bit by a better than expected defense. This is a very solid secondary with some very nice depth. THe...

What Young Player(s) /Transfers Are You Excited To See This Season?

For me it will be some of the TP players. Obviously MB at QB is incredibly intriguing and will determine the season. Tyler Williams and Christian Driver. Highly recruited out of HS, can PJ and staff ignite them. Prior Lake kid Greg Johnson moving to center. I am very interested in what Major...

Al Shaver, the voice of the North Stars for 26 years and the Gophers for three, passed away after a brief illness Monday on Vancouver Island at 96.

Nothing better than Al calling an old Chuck Norris game on the radio. He loved calling the fights and his enthusiasm for the game most definitely influenced my fandom. A tough period of my life partially comforted by listening to North Stars games called by Al on the old AM. RIP.

    All Things DinkyTown Athletes

Was at a family get together this weekend with some cousins who are avid Gopher fans. They are older than me. They had absolutely no idea about DTA or its partners. I had a feeling this may be the case so I brought along some Duck, Duck, Beer. They liked it and said they would buy it...

Every Single Scholarship Gophers Football Player Has an NIL Deal, PJ Fleck Reveals

Funny, I actually follow these kids on YT and have for quite awhile. Fun to see their channel grow!

Gray Duck Spirits Sets $1 Million Goal in Partnership with Minnesota NIL Collective

Not understanding your negativity about this? It is really an easy way to generate revenue for DTA and the goal they are setting is very realistic. Even if the goal is not met, every purchase does generate revenue for DTA.

Gray Duck Spirits Sets $1 Million Goal in Partnership with Minnesota NIL Collective

Yes. Duck Duck Beer is absolutely in the rotation but not the only beer I drink. But it absolutely has replaced others. I am switching to Gray Duck Vodka as well for home use.

Yes, and with how many different Vodka brands are out there, this is not out of the realm of possibility.

Outstanding news with Grey Duck. The naysayers are wrong when it comes to NIL potential for the U of M. There are so many resources here along with a large population. But a a majority of people still are uneducated about the entire NIL process or DTA. I have stated before that I think...

Can the Gophers find success in the new Big Ten?

100 percent agree but my feeling is that it is here to stay. I think there is a stronger chance that there will be adjustments made to the transfer portal which if tightened could help mitigate NIL dollars to a certain extent.

Can the Gophers find success in the new Big Ten?

It absolutely all comes down to how much NIL money is raised. This is by far the most important factor in the future success of any college FB team. Good start for 2024 for retaining our best players, getting a decent recruiting class and landing what appears to be an upgrade at QB. But...

    This is Lunacy

There is more too it but the formula the NFL has is absolutely the best for all markets and is a huge contributor to it's popularity. The NHL will never be as popular as the NFL due to the nature of the sport and it's heavy regional support. MLB has as much parity as NFL? I'm hoping...

There is no doubt that DTA is gaining traction. My experience is showing me that most people still DO NOT understand the NIL/DTA and it's impact. I brought a case of DDB to my softball game and literally nobody had heard of it or understood what it meant for NIL $$. These are sports guys...

    Duck Duck Beers Sightings

Bought my first 12 pack just before the Illionois debacle. In typical fashion, I jinxed yet another Minnesota sports team ad I was starting to get emotionally invested.......... Anyhow, the beer is very good IMO but not great. But good enough where I will continue to buy to support my Gophs...

Describe the surreal loss to Illinois in 1 sentence

As a bitter, cynical, hardened, jaded Minnesota sports fan, I had promised myself not to ever let one of my teams raise my blood pressure. 2023 Gophers accepted that challenge.

Who is your Gopher MVP in win over MSU?

Daniel Jackson with some huge catches early which allowed the Offense to stay on the field and wear down the D. This gave Nubin a chance to run on a tired and beat up D. Any of the top three RB's would've done the same if not better. But there is only 1 WR making those catches now.
