Gopher trip to Wrigley this November

I have family that went to NW and my Aunt is a long time booster/season ticket holder to all the NW sports. I’ve been to several Gopher games in Evanston and it’s a great time. She skips all the Wrigley games. On the fence for this one, could be cold and miserable at Wrigley late November...

Besides the Gophers who do you cheer for?

Northwestern, my grandfather played ball for them and we used get tickets when NU came to the Barn every year. Kansas, my oldest cousin went to KU and and got me a KU basketball T-shirt for Christmas when I was about 10. Been a fan since.

    How's Koi doing?

He looked like the best player on the field yesterday for the D yesterday. There was a drive in the second half he basically made all the tackles the whole drive, think it was the drive he forced the fumble. He looked spectacular.

Gophers legend Greg Eslinger named to College HOF ballot.

I was at the U same time he was. Met him once and I was surprised how small he was. Looked like he was 6’1” 270 maybe, looked really strong. Not sure what he was listed fat for size but he was an incredible player in college.

Minnesota kids you really enjoyed watching

Old Big 9 guy, Mitch Ohnstad and Mike Restovich. Ohnstad scored close to 40 a game his senior year. Restovich was a great all around player and an absolute specimen.
