    Tanner’s NFL Journey

I can’t imagine Morgan trying to make out route throws against NFL DB’s will go well for him. He just doesn’t have the zip on the ball to do that

    Gopher Volleyball 2023 Season

It will likely be Dani Busboom-Kelley who has built a power at Louisville from scratch. Though from a fan support, salary, and facility standpoint there are like an Alabama in football. They can likely attract virtually any sitting coach in the country for that job. Cook has developed an...

    All Things Transfer Portal News

Yes, he was one of the first recruits Rhule went after. The fired GT head coach was a former Rhule assistant so there was a connection there. Thompson has missed all spring after shoulder surgery

    Fleck Effect

Ferentz was HC at Maine before Iowa. Fitzgerald took over shortly before season as HC because Randy Walker died, so unique situation and timing where they had to hire a HC quickly and he was on staff already as an assistant.

That’s true. Some of the media have rates their RB room higher but it seems most I’ve heard have rated their DB’s as their strength

    Nebraska Spring Game

Why are you trying so hard to defend/make excuses for fair weather fans? I’m sure PJ’s like holy crap we just need 55K to fill this place and help him with recruiting, ah never mind that’s too much to ask. It’s that lack of fan support that makes his job tougher.

    Nebraska Spring Game

In the entire state with this population it shouldn’t be hard to find 55K to fill the stadium regularly. That’s a tiny tiny percentage of the states population. It isn’t as if tons of fans are using their sports dollars on teams like the Twins or Timberwolves based on their attendance levels...

    Nebraska Spring Game

Why would you only compare the Twin Cities population, and did you also factor in a stadium that only needs 55K to fill it, which is rarely done. Also all those sports options of Minnesota aren’t occurring simultaneously. Minnesota should easily be able to fill a 55K seat stadium much more...

They also have a lot smaller population. Even with the other sports options here, with the much larger population in MN they should still be able to easily fill the much smaller Huntington Bank stadium and they still struggle to sell it out. MN sports fans are simply fair weather fans.

    Nebraska Spring Game

It isn’t like college football fans in larger cities are intellectual elites that are routinely trying to decide between attending the symphony and a college sporting event. Most are middle class beer drinking guys with the same interests as those in smaller college towns.
