I'm looking most forward to the program taking a decided step forward in competitiveness. This roster should be able to compete every night and beat some teams we weren't supposed to beat.

Maybe you have a different sense of the general perception than I do, but I love how certain you are. Keep stubbornly holding onto to opinions that can't be proven (without some serious polling) and you may just convince me.

You may be right about the actual rigor, but general perception says something different. It is considered a prestigious academic institution.

I agree with your point and would like to add frontcourt depth as well. I am, however, hopeful that adding perimeter defensive ability and quickness will help keep the bigs out of foul trouble. Continually having to help and recover puts bigs in a terrible spot.

He was in foul trouble for nearly the entire game against Wisconsin and couldn’t play aggressively. He showed to be a high-energy, plus defender in the post all year. His length, strength and athleticism makes him a very capable defender (all over the floor). Needs to make some adjustments to...

I wasn't trying to start an argument. I was making an observation and comparing the Iowa game to the previous couple games. Did you not notice a more competitive effort?
