Overall health should be a bigger factor than age in my opinion, as we found out with Jerry Kill. Indiana also had a coach, Terry Hoeppner, who died of cancer after coaching the team for just a couple of seasons. I don't know if they or anyone knew about his health problem when they hired him.

My bet is he still leaves if the right team comes calling, and there are programs that wouldn't have much problem paying his buyout. All Indiana has accomplished is bidding up the cost of hiring a football coach.

I might be in the minority here, but I thought Kill was a very good coach and had a great staff to support him. He definitely left PJ something to build on.
