I know the players, especially the new guys, see it as a grind. Days that start at 7am and end at 11pm, with a packed schedule all day, are something the new guys haven’t experienced. It’s good for them to get that shock to the system.

I’m brand new to the board. I live in the DFW area down here in Texas. My nephew is a true freshman on the team, so I’m trying to immerse myself in all things Gopher football. Full disclosure, I’m a Univ of Texas alum, but I’m more excited about Gopher football this season.

I live close to Boyd’s high school, and I’ve seen him play in person. He is a gamer. He comes to play when the lights come on. And yes, he played against the best Texas has to offer when it comes to high school talent.
