***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT UCLA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Woke up, checked my phone and said to myself, "what the hell". Went I went to bed we were trailing by 10. Genuinely shocked we won this game.

Pitino has New Mexico at 22-4. Damn. Not surprised he's wildly successful in this portal era.

If we get to 8 or 9 I can see him being brought back for another year, although I'd disagree.

Awesome win. Never thought we'd even get to 5 B1G wins, and I think we have a good shot at 7 or 8.

Such a force they might not even make the MAC Tournament! Lmao

Also, this year's team now has 4x as many Q1 wins as last year's team, at least in the regular season.

Awesome win. Nice to see Rigsby come off the bench and play well. Take care of the other game against PSU and beat NW, and that's probably enough to make the B1G tournament, even if we lost every other game due to having the head to head.

***OFFICIAL OREGON AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

They beat Yale 3 days after losing to North Texas and 12 days before losing to Wichita State. Either way, I'll take my chances against similar like teams and hope we win a coin flip game. We should have beaten Wichita State if not for the end of game coaching error. Or people realized, wow, we...

    1. Ben has been historically bad. Unfortunately the results back that up. 2. For him he just had a historically good month in January. We shot up about 50 spots in the NET and got 3Q1 wins. 3. Had we played a better OOC schedule, we may have been in position to be in the mix, with another...

***OFFICIAL OREGON AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Shame you and our coaching staff have the same frame of mind and scare away from competition. Also, we did beat Yale. Fyi. I said we're playing like a fringe tournament team in January. If we play like that again in February, we could have been right there in the mix. But the OOC schedule...

***OFFICIAL OREGON AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

    1. The program is, and has been terrible during his tenure. 2. We've played like a fringe tournament team in January. I know, I'm just as surprised as anyone, but those are the facts. 3. Our OOC schedule gives us no shot to make the tournament (again, not saying we will), but if we have...

***OFFICIAL OREGON AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

We lost basically 3 coin flip games. Like I said who's to say if we play another couple teams of similar competition we automatically lose? Heck we beat Yale, who's significantly better than Wichita, which was 3 days after losing to North Texas. I get there's this whole bs narrative about...

***OFFICIAL OREGON AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

As I said earlier, we are playing like a fringe tournament team in January. The OOC and OOC schedule are a big reason why we basically have no chance, even if we got to like 9-11 again. I'm not saying we will get to that, but we got there last year and didn't sniff the tournament because of our OOC.

***OFFICIAL OREGON AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

And the shitty OOC, and the loss to Wichita, because of coach malpractice, is certainly a reason why. As I pointed out, there are a bunch of teams with 8 losses coming into tonight who are right there on the cutline. Believe it or not, we've actually played like a fringe tournament team in the...

***OFFICIAL OREGON AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Yeah, and we lost basically 3 coin flip games. One of them bc of a terrible coaching decision. Who's to say if we play two more similar opponents we lose? I'm not asking to play Auburn, Bama and Duke, but what's so bad about playing a team like UC-Irvine and Drake instead of Morgan State and...

***OFFICIAL OREGON AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Well yeah because 7 of our wins are against Q4 competition so we might as well be 4-9 right now. I'm not saying we'd have made the tournament had we scheduled tougher, but there's a reason 8 loss teams like OSU, ASU, Xavier and UNC are on the tournament cut line right now. We beat Wichita State...

***OFFICIAL OREGON AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Yep, pretty much. There's a reason a team like OSU is right on the cut line for the tournament at 12-8 overall, and had we beaten Wichita we'd also be 12-8 and nowhere close. And we actually have the same amount of Q1 wins.

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT MICHIGAN STATE IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

They actually shot the 3 pretty shitty most of the first half until Holloman made all those late. They missed a bunch of open looks from 3 or it would be worse.

***OFFICIAL OREGON AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Yeah, no shit. But we only know that after the fact. You don't go into the year projecting to lose those types of games (although North Texas has been a pretty good mid major). Again if you're a team with tournament aspirations, you have to schedule better.
