Those shots of the Iowa crowd were fantastic by the CBS crew. It's even better with the ISU fan losing his shit as he sits among them. They actually thought they were a potential playoff team and this essentially ended all that BS.
I didn't think it was possible but their QB position got worse. They had 200 yds rushing and lost. How? As we all saw, when your QB goes 13/29 for 99 yds for a QBR of 9.7. Atrocious!
I thought I would throw the Stats out quickly. I like this stat line as it shows that we weren't riding the starters all game and we got some young guys in there for some reps, which pay dividends down the road.
Your point? They played a terrible team and hammered them. What do want them to do? It sounds like no matter what they wouldn't have done you can't find a way to be happy.
PJ talks about Schiano being a mentor and apparently Schiano has no issue running up the score. There are no nice guy points in college football.
I just looked at Rutgers stats and they still haven't pulled out their starting RBs to do it. Still just stats for 2 guys. I give PJ praise for...
Not going to get after a kid for that. A lot of things are said on the field. If something was said referencing his dad in regards to him it's hard to keep quiet. Remember when you were 20 and the adrenaline is flowing.
Hard to watch. I would be irate as a coach if I saw Brockington try to make a catch like that into his chest. I would yell at a high school kid for not getting up and high-pointing the ball with his hands not a kid in what his third year in a B1G program. Ridiculous!!!
They have some veteran coaches, so not surprised we see some adjustments in first drive. We'll see how Hetherman earns his pay with subsequent adjustments in the next series.
