This is exactly correct. Mary Nutter, IMO is not a better tournament than Clearwater for this reason. Clearwater had more NCAA post season teams than Nutter, and Nutter has far too many middle of the road teams and coaches don’t get to pick their opponents. Clearwater you are guaranteed good...

Clearwater is going to be insanely difficult. Only 2 teams that weren’t in NCAA’s. Wisconsin and North Carolina. We won’t see WI….if we can come out of Clearwater with 2 wins it’s a good weekend, 3 will get us back to NCAA’s

Money will forever be an issue with NIL money in play. The B10 currently does not even come close to the NIL money the SEC/ACC/Big 12/ PAC throws at softball student athletes. Until that changes, money will be an issue.

I agree on the importance of pitching...I think everyone would agree on that. Pease not pitching the last game was not the reason we lost. Errors, lack of hitting, bad baserunning...all of it contributed. The Chavez error hurt, but the throw from right field that was no where near to home...

Highly unlikely. They were trying to win the game. Without that call they are still sitting with a runner at first and only one out. That call, while entirely appropriate from what I saw, really killed their chances, with two outs and no one on. I think it happens with anyone playing second.
