What was your favorite Patrick Reusse moment?

Thank goodness she wasn’t paying attention to the lyrics of Paul Revere, you might have been sent to reformatory school.

    Your favourite movies please!

I've never seen Adventureland--I think I have it mixed up in my head with the Eisenberg movie where he's fighting zombies and I wasn't interested in that. I'll need to give it a shot. I'll echo WAG in stating that it's going to be a pretty high bar to clear TWWB, mainly because of Rockwell's...

    Your favourite movies please!

Whew, I think this might have been grueling to cut down than my Top 10 list. I have a heavy lean towards the beginning of the quarter century with my selections, but here goes: Top 5 (no particular order here, other than alphabetically) 1. Almost Famous 2. City of God 3. Eternal Sunshine of the...

Wow - Marcus: Johnson is arguably at a point in his tenure when he might also need for people to be patient with him.

In recent weeks, there's been commentary offered up by the local sports media that has been a drumbeat of support for Ben Johnson, a Souhan column that the T-Wolves are going to miss Glen Taylor(!), and I'm sure I've missed it, but there's gotta be a column out there telling Twins fans they'll...

All Things 2025 Minnesota Twins In-Season Thread

Lynan Bostock was one hit away in 1977, Knoblauch three hits away in 1996, and Mauer was nine hits away in 2009.

All Things Immaculate Grid-related (MLB, NBA, NFL)

Bill Hands (.8%) Pat Meares (.9%) Tony O (only five Twins have ever gotten 200 hits in a season, but Bostock got to 199 and Knoblauch to 197)

Growing up in a staunchly conservative Catholic home, the lingerie section of the Penny’s catalog got young Coolhand through those long Minnesota winters. Damn the forests!

Dan Hurley - love him or hate him?

Adrian Wojnarowski wrote a great book The Miracle of St. Anthony many years ago about their dad and my recollection (it's hazy) was that he was very intense, but not antagonistic like his boys. And of course, a HS legend probably has the refs swallowing their whistles a bit more on his behalf...

Barry Alvarez whines about Fickell and offers no solutions

Never have I seen a GH poster that brings less to the table than you, which is an incredible achievement given some of the wastrel that has populated the boards over the 20+ years I've been around. Congrats on being the first poster that I move to the block list.

Archer saved me. Otherwise, it would have lights out. And after a lot of thought, Delmon Young was the only player I could think of for the Phils/Rays square. Thank goodness for marginal Twins!

Do you see Eli as a HOF'er? I just can't. He's like Flacco in my mind (and yes, I know he's got one more Super Bowl in his pocket). Looking at his career comps on football reference, seems a lot closer in my mind to Donovan McNabb and Carson Palmer than Ben Roethlisberger and Warren Moon.

I went with: Halos: Rob Wilfong (.5%) Cards: Steve Braun (.7%) White Sox: Phil Roof (.2%) (thank you '70s baseball card collection) Funny, besides Braun, Herr, Tom Brunansky, and Jim Kaat I was having a really tough time thinking of Twins/Cards yesterday, so I just took a look at the...

I was able to use all Twins today and kept my overall score under 10–good luck to you all-I will reveal my grid later as there’s sure to be a lot of crossover with some of the categories.

And as little as I saw the Vikings live or even in highlights, when Turner flashed, it was noticeable--he has the look of a guy who can be a nightmare for years to come. Might not happen, but I'm puzzled about the criticism on the pick at this point, especially as mentioned, he was playing...
