Again though, I think you are underestimating how much those other teams can pay. The two BE teams especially. They don't have football to budget for. Otz has his pick of the liter basically so that's clearly why you are not going to draw him in any facet(money, league, program etc..)...

Forgetting about the state of the job. But even money wise the Gophers are not upping the salaries of Otz or even McDermott or Miller. People are overestimating what we can spend for hoops and/or greatly underestimating what those teams all have.

Yeah and he also signed that extension as a way to say he's at ISU for life or leaving for a massive job. Gophers should be put on 5 year probation for even being delusional enough to call him. I cant believe people keep putting this as an option.

Actually by his own admission his 4th Qtr play in late games has been very poor. He has not been good at it through his development. This wasn't a 1 off. Part of it is because we have no one else who can break down a D so we are easy to defend. But he has not been a big shot maker to this point.

Ant is a total disaster in the clutch. Until he develops that gene, this team wont be a true contender.

I just don't see how a team with Hunter Dickinson as their best player can truly be a title contender He's horrendous on D and relies too much on other guys on offense to consistently dominate.
