I get the feeling most of Wisconsin’s transfer outs are because they want to leave, and Minnesota’s are because they won’t see the field. (I could be wrong).
His measurables (speed and height) make him worth the risk. We’ve had a lot of good route runners that can catch, but few with 4.38 speed. If he does bust at receiver, they can try him at edge.
They absolutely should go to a 9 game conference schedule. I’d go so far as to say any conference that doesn’t, should not be eligible for the first round bye.
If he’s being considered as an edge by some coaching staffs, then they must think he can add some weight to his 210 pound frame. Maybe he can add 25 pounds of muscle and be similar to DK Metcalf!
I think so too, but it may be too late for most spring QB transfers to find a team they can start on. Having missed winter workouts and spring training, they’ll have a tough time learning a new system and getting used to how the offense plays together.

It looked that way to me as well. And all crowds seemed to be into the game like it was a big deal. Giving the fans a home playoff game felt more like a real college atmosphere than most bowl games do.
If I’m looking at that correctly, 2 of the 5-8 teams will not advance, while 2 of the 9-12 teams will. Most likely 2 blowout games are being moved to the second round.
