    Gophers' "Road to 19 Wins"

The way I see it now is that they *must* go 12-6, 11-7 in conference and sneak in with 17 or 18 regular season wins. A win or two in the conference tournament to cement it. I'd imagine there would be some nice wins sprinkled in a 11+ win conference schedule. Maybe would get the benefit of the...

Reusse: Fleck realizes you can fool most of the people some of the time, and Gophers fans nearly all of the time

Reusse was right about Fleck refusing to take ownership for individual coaching blunders in IA and Wisconsin games. The canned "it's 100% my fault" isn't enough. Admit you were wrong about sprinting on the field, running on 3rd down, and punting at the WI 35.

That was amateur hour. The staff should be embarrassed.

Ciarrocca is a LIABILITY. No one talks about this. 2 NFL WRs and 2 more solid B1G receivers + 1 NFL QB + 3 solid B1G starting RBs + above average offensive line. Gophers offense succeeds despite Ciarrocca mismanagement because of a soft schedule.

The stupidity of some on here is laughable

It's 100% fair for fans to re-adjust expectations mid-season. To act like fans are contractually obligated to be happy with anything barely above pre-season predictions is just plain silly. Typical "awww shucks" little engine that could mentality that punts from the other team's 35 yard line...

We may never be in this position again

3 solid running B1G running backs, above average offensive line, 2 NFL wide receivers, 1 NFL quarterback, and 2 more solid wideouts that could be starters on other B1G teams. Boatloads of talent that'll make anyone look good. Iowa and Wisconsin coaches ran circles around him with MUCH less talent.

We may never be in this position again

Ciarrocca is mind-bendingly overrated. D + grade for him on the year. You can make peace with a talent deficit Minnesota, but we had talent superiority against Iowa and Wisconsin. THAT is the killer point

    2020 Schedule

Gophers should be considered favorites in 10 out of 12 games - bare minimum. That said, Gophers could end up being favorites in those games as well depending on how the season starts to shape up. Wisconsin and Michigan are not sure bets to remain as top 15 teams.

Journal Sentinel: Where were you for the Badgers Miracle in the Metrodome in 2005?

Down the third baseline 20-30 rows up near the 30 yard line. The side of the punt block end zone.

    Ohio State

I'd trust Auburn or Florida to give them a good game more than Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan. OSU is good, but I think the trio of B1G teams above are more like top 15-25 teams. The B1G conference gets drops off significantly below Ohio State IMO, and this has more to do with low quality from...

Here's Why Gophers Still (almost) Control Playoff Destiny

Tonight's CFP top 10 *should* look like this: LSU OSU Clemson Georgia Alabama Minnesota Oklahoma Utah Florida Michigan/Wisconsin

Turkey of the Year: Patrick Reusse?

Got to be Tom Thibodeau from the Wolves. Glen Taylor did hire him so they could be co-winners.

Here's Why Gophers Still (almost) Control Playoff Destiny

I think Alabama is done. Oregon's 2nd loss really hurts Auburn's overall clout, and that would theoretically be the win that Alabama hangs its hat on. You must have at least 2 good wins in order to get in with one loss.

Here's Why Gophers Still (almost) Control Playoff Destiny

    1. LSU (lock if undefeated or 1-loss in SEC title game) 2. Clemson (lock if undefeated) 3. Minnesota (lock if beats WI & Ohio State) 4: Brawl between 1-loss Ohio State/1-loss Oklahoma/1-loss Georgia/1-loss Alabama (Georgia gets nod if beats LSU. Anyone's guess if it comes down to OU, OSU, Alabama)

Here's Why Gophers Still (almost) Control Playoff Destiny

Oregon is now out and Utah likely automatically sinks with them. No way the Utes can dig out of their 1-loss hole with that poor of a schedule. It's pretty much locked at this point that Gophers control their own destiny by winning out.

Gophers can make a legit claim to be #5. Should be probably 6 or 7.

If Georgia wins out then Minn might still be in a sticky situation despite winning out. They *should* get in, but it'll be close.
