This Kentucky team is not the same one in the past just sweeping through the SEC, they can be beat. We really need to assert our dominance early and limit the errors, if we can do this then we might have some hope for a deep run.
They really let that WKU freshman hitter do whatever she wanted, also their star player Cox started getting better late in the match and if it went five who knows what would've happened.
If she's got a legitimate personal reason why then fine all the best to her, but if she's just chasing a ring and a paycheck then I hope karma hits her hard. We've dealt with this before and still haven't fully recovered.
During a stretch of about three minutes in the fourth quarter I counted seven missed jumpers and three turnovers. These types of droughts can cost you games against better opponents.
They could've won that second set if not for a couple of errors late. That's what is so frustrating, they know that they can dominate anyone, but they just keep allowing these minor errors to keep piling up.
Suffered through some poor play calling in the second half, but fought through it and got the win. Wasn't pretty, but beating Wisconsin always seems to cheer things up.
