I too had thought this was going to last quite a while after reading an article earlier in week, so a pleasant surprise it is resolved.

So, the final two games we were waiting on and holding out a little hope for ended up being Central Michigan and Morgan State...? And when it was thought an upgrade in the non-conference schedule was needed, we get one with no real quality opponents at home and no road game...? Not good.

I misspoke as now we have 2 games to fill.

NCAA rule changes for 2025 announced. Nothing too earth-shattering - expanded communication devices, pitch/action clock tweaks, etc. One that sticks out to me is approval of optional safety base for all games including post-season (...though it isn't clear if both teams have to agree...)...

I believe all sports (including football) will now be equivalency sports, meaning you can divide up the scholarships however you want (...assuming for that sport the scholarships offered is something less than the roster limit).
