Obviously, you have never coached. Every player on our roster thinks they will play professionally. You can talk all day…until they get hit in the mouth by a quality opponent..they are not listening. Quality competition enforces your coaching points. Players do learn. They wanna win. Just play...

No argument about North Texas not being a push over or one of our better non conference opponents, if not the best. But, they are ranked #46 in the Net. Don’t think many expected that. And if Ben would have forecast that ability…we wouldn’t have scheduled them is my take.

I would agree it would be difficult to be more dysfunctional, but a good play caller on either side of the ball doesn't automatically make a great head coach. It could work, but it might not too. If I'm going to pay somebody $13 million a year to be the head coach I'd like him to have done it...
