My guess is that if Mike Mitchell somehow gets another year of eligibility, it will be an indicator of whether or not Dawson could. Mitchell by all accounts should not have any left. Wasn't a part of the Covid year and used 4 years of eligibility.

I can't believe people are diminishing Asuma. He didn't light the world on fire last year, but he was fairly productive last year for a true freshman. Sure, and Crowl didn't contribute very much as a Freshman. His breakout year was during his Sophomore season. I'm hopeful Grove has a similar trajectory. Wisconsin also has a long history of developing players into contributors by their Sophomore seasons, MN not so much.

He redshirted last year and I saw him play in the exhibition games. I'm not saying he's a bust, he just has a lot of work ahead of him yet.

I'm not panicking but Grove in the top 9 would be a problem. He should be the 3rd option at the 4 or 5. I look forward to him sticking around and contributing more as a sophomore, but relying on him this year would be like relying on Betts last year. Not his time yet.
