Our understandings are different, and I don't know which of us is right. Can someone who really knows comment?

You're right, I don't know but I would bet a very large sum of money that it is true. I don't think Rodgers is the type of guy to finish his hall of fame career agreeing to hold a clipboard.

All Things 2025 NCAA Tournament Games Thread

Some good games last 2 days but very boring tournament to my mind. Way too chalky. Maybe that's the future with NIL as fewer great players at smaller schools. If so, March Madness loosing some of its charm. My pool sheets in the future will be all higher chalk.

I'm not an expert on this, but I think the U wants just 1 clearing house for NIL money to keep things simpler. My understanding is the clearing house (DTA in this case), only collects the money and the U tells it how much to distribute to each individual player. DTA has no say in how much goes...

Note that players can still sign their own spokesperson deals with companies outside of DTA. Like Caitlin Clark with State Farm.

Takes 2 to tango. Rodgers will not sign here unless he is guaranteed starting job and Vikes not going to do that. If something bad happens to JJ and Rodgers is still available, then they could try to sign him.

Agree, especially about Wallner. Too many strikeouts and pop ups to be a lead off hitter. Just bad at bats. Don't get it.

    The New Recruits

I really know very little about these kids game, but I think we have to wait until Niko analyzes their games to see if they fit his system and culture. He may tell one or more of them that they should look elsewhere. Or, maybe not. I just don't think he should pull out all stops to keep them if...

2025 Final Year for CBS's Danielson

He had a good run. Not my favorite, but easily not the worst.

Get it. Just seems like people who pay $150 a season for mlb.com shouldn't also have to pay $99 to see their local team. Guess that's the way it is but doesn't seem right. I'm lucky in that I don't live in Twins market so I can see all Twins games free via t-mobile.

Doesn't MLB give the teams a piece of their action?

That sucks. At least give you away games.
