Reusse: Unlike the Gophers’ coaching situation, the solution for Williams Arena is simple: Blow up The Barn

As mentioned earlier, the ice size was reduced. Just a suggestion when folks started posting building a basketball arena that seats 9-10K. With it being a single level with permenent seats, the lower seats on the ends would seem to be the biggest challenge.

Reusse: Unlike the Gophers’ coaching situation, the solution for Williams Arena is simple: Blow up The Barn

Using the building of an excellent on campus stadium as the school's lack of commitment is silly, you disagree?

Reusse: Unlike the Gophers’ coaching situation, the solution for Williams Arena is simple: Blow up The Barn

Could use Mariucci for basketball with some configuration updates. Not sure how fast the current boards can be removed.

Ryan Day gets 7 year extension, $12.5MM per year

I'm sure the buyout is pretty lucrative, like 80% of the remaining amount if fired. Would be almost 53 in 2031. You'd think he'd have just invested well by that point and could "retire". With the salaries where they are for P4 HC jobs, I'd love to see these guys do a couple contracts and then go...

Max Brosmer 2025 NFL Draft: Scouting Report For Minnesota Golden Gophers QB

Definitely has a chance to make half that if he figures out how to stick around for 8-10 years.

    2024-25 Gopher Hockey Season

Slow start but once they kicked it in, Gophs controlled the game. 31 had a great game between the pipes. That place was rocking last night and hoping it's the same tonight.

Minnesota’s Corey Hetherman new defensive coordinator at Miami

I tend to agree with you that NIL will flatten the curve if you mean it will help to start to level the playing field. I see it as a great opportunity for programs like the U in that there is a lot of highly recruited talent at perennial top 15 programs and 2 or 3 on the depth chart who will be...

Minnesota’s Corey Hetherman new defensive coordinator at Miami

Definitely a bit of a vagabond existence for sure...I think the fact that it was "one and done" has people speculating. Parlayed his success at James Madison into a big payday.

Is it fair that Notre Dame is independent?

Also mentioned potential changes to the Grant of Rights exit fees...possibly reducing them.

Big Ten Football: Who is on the hot seat in 2025? (Fickell, Riley, Locksley)

Interesting takes on Wisconsin talent given how good the recruiting and transfer classes have been ranked. Fickell will stay or go based on whether the transition to a new offense is successful. 2025 will be a good barometer for the transition.

    Wisconsin Badgers are idiots

Ha! So a slow learner who needs three years to finish their senior year of school? All kidding aside, apples to oranges with high school.

Minnesota’s Corey Hetherman new defensive coordinator at Miami

Didn't count for comparison because Miami played four more games. Either way win totals are comparable.
