I took my car in for service recently, in the waiting room they had ESPN on. Smith was yelling about something ... someone got up and turned the TV off. I don't get who wants to listen to that shit all the time?

Yeah he's very promising, makes plays, but I've seen direct misses and "uh pretty sure that was Koi's guy" on some plays.

I remember going to a practice and watching the QBs run the offense on 2 min drill type scenarios. Vic got up there and I was "uh ... nope guess not". Everyone can have a bad day of course but it was day and night between him and his competition.

DUMB EVERY player who gets the wind knocked out of them is now punished because a few assholes somewhere else are dicking with the game ... and the folks gaming the system? They're still not punished as you just have some nobody go down and fake the injury. Meanwhile we're going to wonder...

I was never super high on him but I really thought he was at least a serviceable Big 10 running back for sure.

I'm nervous. OL was very on and very off at times this past year. Losing a lot of folks with that situation already, makes me nervous.

Sports fans love consistency (sometimes even if they imagine it) so much. Admittedly, I loved those plays too.

As much as coaches want a competition... it's up to the players and the players only to make it happen.

If you want a lump of money, B1G could just get a loan ... they got a lot incoming. PE at least usually pretends to add some value. But what value could they provide that B1G couldn't just go out and buy? I can't imagine.

Certainly going to depend on the contract and the nature of whatever made them reduce capacity. But yeah it's so weird. I can't imagine they conducted a construction project like this under some "lol maybe" clause ...

This is dumb. They have a very profitable business. PE is there to extract the profits FROM them ... What value could a PE organization provide that B1G couldn't get on their own without giving up equity in their own organization? Meanwhile the B1G and schools at least intend to take a long...

Sometimes capacity is reduced by a renovation by design…. but apparently this time it was a surprise and not planned. No explanation for what happened. No idea how you mess up this big.

I'm sure it is a competition. I do think sometimes fans react oddly if they don't "hear" about a lot of competition assume the coaches just didn't "have" a competition. No matter what coaches do / guys they bring in, sometimes I think they stand around in practice and they just know "naw...
