Hold out!! Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava did not attend Tennessee spring practice today. He’s been in conversations with Tennessee about a new contract.

Nobody wants to deal with him or his dad. His career is over. Typical story about what "I" am worth fantasy. He might get on with somebody but it won't be a top program where he has a chance to win.

Was firing Johnson the right decision by Coyle?

What Coyle will do is keep turning a stripped screw so unless some real changes are made to increase a new coach's chances, no need to fire anyone.

Was firing Johnson the right decision by Coyle?

Firing was a bad idea because there will be no big hire, no influx of NIL money and we will still play in a fan unfriendly, outdated venue. Gopher basketball is a lost cause. There is substantial talent in this state and very few consider Minnesota, the home school. Fix that.

Scoggins: Word is Mark Coyle wants to build Gophers men’s basketball. What does it mean for Ben Johnson?

I was crucified for this statement. If logistics can be met, move to target center until a solution on campus makes sense. Much better fan experience downtown vs on campus, better pre game day offering.

Barry Alvarez whines about Fickell and offers no solutions

Spot on. Barry knew how to do the old school persuasive tactics that John Robinson successfully applied at USC.

Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium will hold fewer people than expected after renovations

It is a blessing for them. They should be pleased.

    New House Settlement Option

The NIL was supposed to be the athlete getting their own deals, not the schools who divide it up to whom ever. Basically they are getting paid by a fictitious entity called a collective. Pay to play was supposed to be, you play and endorse us and if we sell more, you get money. Are these...

    New House Settlement Option

NIL, as we know, it not legitimate. Get yourself an endorsement, that was the intent originally. You can use your jersey to promote yourself. Now its just pay to play, period.

Five Guys On A Shortlist: If the U Decides Change Is Needed, Aim High & Don't Be Cheap With That Big Ten Cash

Nobody will coach in Barn. Move to Target center until some money is found to build a campus arena or, just play at Target center. Even get a floor to put over the ice at Mariucci. There is zero reason to stay on campus if you want to begin to rebuild a dead program. Some of the best talent in...

Charlotte's Mayo bowl game suffered the smallest turnout in its 23-year history on Jan. 3.

None of the bowls including the playoff games were attended as expected. The games coming up will not be well attended either. Its too much for fans to go. Locals will not spend the money either.

    Memorial Stadium

Went to many games. It seemed like it always rained! At the time, I thought it blew away the Viking venue in Bloomington. So many great memories there. I had a friend who was an intern for a radio station that was outside giving away tickets so I always got some of my friends in for free. Saw...

    ESPN bowl monopoly

This goes for the CFP playoff games as well. Notice TV does not show the entire crowd. Actual crowds are not what one would think. Look at the ticket prices and availability. Lets see what the blimp shows at the Rose Bowl.

Current get-in prices for the quarterfinals on @StubHub. Rose: $170 Fiesta: $40 Sugar: $33 Peach: $16

Tv does not care and fans are caring less and less. Will not be long and these games will bring maybe 40K.

All four playoff winners were on home field

Too many games, too much greed and the permanent loss of the tradition and sentimentality of college football. I would like to see the actual attendance numbers, not the said tickets sold. The whole weekend was weird. They should pick a neutral site and play all 4 games in two days first round...

Highest-paid player in college football history? Transfer QB Darian Mensah's Duke deal is sign of times

If true, where is the value proposition for any of this? Duke is not going to compete for National championship.

    Opting out of Bowl Games

This is all crap. Just play. You can get hurt at the combine or working out, it happens. Opting out is not a great life lesson.
